Photo Editing Styles | Wedding Photos

We understand every client has a unique style and vision when it comes to their engagement and wedding photos. Creating an edit style is much more than adding a filter as you see below. Different styles of wedding venues and wedding decor match up different photo editing styles.

To accommodate these style preferences, we offer three primary editing styles.  We encourage our clients to choose one of the three styles for their wedding based on the examples and vision for the wedding.

Modern Photo Editing Style – Basic Edit

The Modern Photo Editing Style is a basic edit with the natural exposure adjusted for brightness and color correction. A beautiful choice reflecting the natural beauty of the day.

Vibrant and Clean Photo Editing Style – Custom Edit

The Vibrant and Clean style is both light and airy, its soft, pastel hues are dreamy, with a filmic vibe. This style adds a romantic, dreamy feel to the images and is most often used in natural light photos. Light and airy pairs well with natural scenes with clean backgrounds in soft light.

The primary limitation of this editing style is that the colors in the skies are often blown out, i.e. turned to white, so it may not be the ideal style if you’re seeking vibrant sunsets or bold colors.

Dark and Moody Photo Editing Style – Custom Edit

The Dark and Moody editing style is deep, rich, and moody. Often described as bohemian or earthy, this popular style creates a warmer, darker, and moodier feel to the images. Natural light is best for this type of edit and the skies are usually washed out a bit to deliver the moody vibe brides swoon over.
