On-Site Wedding Day Timeline

The on-site wedding ceremony timeline begins after the makeup and hair is completed off-site. The planning team at The Briarcliff Manor will guide you in the day of details for your custom wedding celebration.

Bride – Groom Prep – Both the Bride and Groom suites are great for prep photos, they are on opposite sides of the venue and you will not risk seeing each other before the reveal. This is when we do the styles portraits and solo shots of both the bride and groom.

First Look (Private Vows) – These moments usually happen in the front of the manor before any guests are present.

Couple Photos – After the first look we start with the couple photos session and do a photo walk to all the best spots at the manor.

Bridal Party – Once the couple photos are taken we add the bridal party. We do this on the steps in front of the manor. This location is great for group photos and always come out amazing.

Family Photos – Once the bridal party is photographed we add family to the session. Many family members will be in your bridal party so this is the best flow for organizing the photo session.

On-Site Ceremony – The back lawn is where the ceremony happens, if rain is in the forecast the ceremony is moved indoors.

Cocktail Hour – The coktail hour is on the lawn and sometimes indoors. Depending on the season.

Reception – Once the cocktail hour has ended it is time to celebrate with family and friends.

Off-Site Wedding Day Timeline

Some couples choose to be married at a local church and then come to The Briarcliff Manor for photos before the cocktail hour. Some time restrains and individual desires may include going to a different location for photos and arriving at the manor for the reception only.
